Artist statement

I consider myself very lucky, most people spend a lifetime trying to figure out what or who they want to be…

I have always wanted to be an artist and at 25 I became one professionally!

There has been no looking back for me.

I spend my days doing what comes naturally: collecting, cutting, experimenting, playing and discovering!

Expressing the joys, laughter, ups and downs, the trials and triumphs of life and relationships as I go through my own.

“My work is not for everyone and that is ok, my aim as an artist is to make art that you can love or hate but you definitely cannot ignore! If my art evokes a feeling in you positive or negative, my work as an artist is done. “

At 42 I find myself starting all over again.

It’s a first for many things for me…

Being single, living on my own, driving a car and starting my own family.

These are new waters out of which will emerge new works …….

I embrace the journey as I do believe that everything happens at the right time and for the best.

I can’t wait to see what comes off it and I look forward to sharing it with the world.
